PHF / Aseptic Tomato Paste
Aseptic Tomato Paste
Tomato paste is produced by concentrating ripe tomatoes through evaporation, removing approximately 70–80% of their water content to intensify flavor and color and extend shelf life. Available in drums with aseptic bags, tins, and other bulk formats. Generally produced using either the hot-break method (rapidly heating crushed tomatoes to 85–100°C to retain pectin and create a thicker texture) or the cold-break method (approximately 65–75°C, preserving a fresher flavor and brighter red color). Cold-break tomato paste is available for supply.
