PHF / Mozzarella Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese is traditionally made from buffalo milk, although cow's milk is also used today. Mozzarella is a soft cheese with a mild, slightly sweet flavor, made from fresh pasteurized milk — also created by shredding cagliata, plunging it into hot water or brine, and pulling/kneading it until glossy, elastic, and shaped into balls or blocks. A ready-to-eat table or cooking cheese used directly in salads, sandwiches and pizzas.
